Curious what other people think here. Would it be rude or offensive if I asked one of the bridesmaids to give a speech at my wedding instead of my maid of honor? I honestly don't think my maid of honor even knows she would typically be the one to make a speech nor do I think she really would want to make one. I also just think this other bridesmaid who's known me longer would just give a better speech and be more comfortable making one. I don't think the MOH would care if the other girl gave a speech instead of her.
