Do I need to address hiring my own photographer with a family member who is a photography and might be offended we didn’t ask?

So, my grandfather is a very talented photographer. He shoots a lot of corporate photography these days, and I love his work, but it’s not my flavor for my wedding. I have hired a photographer I really like who is local to me. I’m wondering if I should bring this up, as people have asked if he will be doing my wedding. Here’s what I’m concerned about.I don’t want his feelings to be hurt, but he also didn’t offer and it’s my wedding. We aren’t very close but he is still my grandpa. I don’t want him in the bridal suite while I’m getting ready or working on my wedding day.I’ve discussed with the person I hired, and she is confident it’ll be ok, but there is a strict no other photographers may photograph the ceremony or portraits clause. I’m not sure how to deal with this. He is a professional, so I’m certain he knows to respect other professionals, but I am a bit anxious he’ll show up with a camera.Any thoughts? Is this even worth a conversation? Right now I’m leaning towards not discussing unless he brings it up to me. via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3bTwnN7
