Fiancé and I are bouncing around ideas for what we want to do now that we’ve cancelled our May 2021 wedding. We’re debating eloping alone but also thinking about having our parents there.FH wants his parents there AND two of his sisters. I feel like we can’t invite his sisters unless we invite all of the siblings. He has SEVEN siblings. And some of them are married and have kids. I have 3 sisters, 2 of whom I’m very close to and 1 of whom actively hates me (?). All in all, adding our siblings, their spouses, and children, would add 18 guests. So not a safe event anymore. FH suggested literally siblings only, no spouses or children, which would be 10 extra guests, but I feel like that’s still risky and it would be rude to exclude everyone’s families.Any thoughts? Anyone else who is very close to their siblings still getting married without them? via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3s93vGL
