I am starting to plan out the day of and the ceremony. As the title states my fiancé is blind and that has impacted some of the traditional things you may see at a wedding. We won’t have a first look and I don’t care about him ‘seeing’ me for the first time walking down the aisle. Because of this, I am thinking we will walk down the aisle together. It seems weird to me to be walking down the aisle towards my fiancé but he can’t see me. I feel like that moment is only for me and not for him at all. Does anyone else have any other suggestions other than us walking together? Some other things I’ve thought about: - Having a podium so he can read his vows in BrailleHiring a videographer that knows we don’t want one of those cinematic highlight films only set to musicWe will be standing opposite of how brides and grooms traditionally stand during the ceremony as this will help him with the tiny bit of peripheral vision he has in one eyeIs there something else I should be considering that may need modifications? via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3G9eWVK
