Hello! FH and I got engaged earlier this year, and have decided to hold a wedding ceremony in fall 2023 in hopes that COVID will be well under control by then (we have lots of elderly family and it is very important to us that they are there). However, neither of us can handle waiting at this point. We are seriously discussing getting legally married sometime next year and still holding a wedding ceremony on our intended date. However, I’m nervous that already being legally married might ruin some of the “magic” of the wedding ceremony! I’d love it if people would weigh in on their experiences and if they ultimately regretted or are glad they got married before the ceremony. TIA! via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3b3NkmV
