I’m struggling to figure out when my bridal shower and bachelorette party should be in relation to my wedding.Backstory: I’m getting married in March 2022, in the city I currently live. Problem is, the vast majority of guests (including my closest friends and family) live a long distance away and need to travel via plane to my wedding. I want these people at my bridal shower and/or bachelorette too. I will most likely have both the shower/bachelorette on the same weekend for this reason, to minimize travel for my loved ones.My question is, would it be best and not as financially stressful on my guests to have these events close to the wedding (ie the weekend before) so everyone only has to travel once, or to spread them out some more? If you were invited to these events and had to travel, what is an appropriate time apart you could justify buying two sets of plane tickets? I worry having them super close to my wedding day will stress ME out, but I don’t want my friends and family to feel pressured to spend hundreds on plane tickets to travel twice.Help is appreciated! via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3nFZvMk
