Officiant/bridesmaid conundrum

My fiancé and I are in a bit of a quandary. We are trying to decide on a friend to officiate out wedding and we both sort of agree that the best option to officiate is one of my dear friends who already has the certifications/registration within the county our ceremony will be in. Plus She’s a dear friend, and excellent public speaker. The only problem is that I already asked her to be a bridesmaid and I’m fairly certain she already purchased her dress. Plus I sort of feel like it would be a demotion to ask her to step down as a bridesmaid to be only an officiant.So we are toying with the idea of somehow having her be BOTH a bridesmaid and an officiant. But we are trying to mentally figure out the logistics of how that would work. Would she already be standing down at the alter when the music starts (leaving a uneven number of groomsmen to bridesmaids)? Would the music start and processional start without the officiant already there, to have her take her place after she’s walked out with a groomsman? Is this entire idea stupid?If anyone else has done something similar or has any ideas- please let me know!Ps it is important for us to be someone we know, we won’t be hiring some random professional who doesn’t know us.Edit: it’s probably important to note that my fiancé has already asked his groomsmen to be groomsmen while ago, and it is an even 6 on each side.
