Do I have to miss out on my bachelorette?

I’m already aware this is going to sound so whiny and selfish and I’m sorry for it I just had to get it out in a hopefully sympathetic place.I’m getting married in June. Planning this wedding has obviously been difficult. The pandemic has made everything harder, we cut our guest list in half and modified a lot of our vision to keep things safe and smart.I was browsing online for a rehearsal dinner dress, and came across the dress that would’ve been like my dream bachelorette party dress.I had initially accepted that the party-all-night, wild bachelorette party of my dreams was not going to be an option this year. But now... I don’t know.Covid numbers are improving, slowly, in my area. My MOH and one bridesmaid are already vaccinated. I’m just waiting on my vaccination appointment date. Supposedly we’ll all be able to get the vaccine by May 5th in the US, and my wedding is June 19th.Is it crazy to even try to plan a traditional bachelorette night out, knowing we’re in a pandemic? Am I a selfish asshole for even wanting that?I just want some part of this to feel “right” and fun. via /r/weddingplanning https://ift.tt/3eJWQ1o
